More Info
  • The residence is located in the centre of Milano, and it is part of a group of architectural works started by the Municipality of Milan at the end of the second world war. The complex, built in 1947-50 by architect Luigi Moretti, consists of two thirteen-floor towers and of another building called “Casa della Laureata”. The building is of particular historic and artistic interest both because of its architect’s fame and because of its particular architectural features, and it is under the protection of the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Environment. The restoration of the building began recently, co-financed by the Ministry of Education, University and Research, according to the law N. 338/2000, and by Regione Lombardia. Currently the building complex offers 406 beds, shared kitchens on floors and a very large common space on the ground floor with study halls and recreation areas.
